**Dawes
Avenue School
celebrates “Love the Bluff Day” to learn about technology and
the bluff.
**Students visited the bluff in November to
continue their clean up and planting efforts at the bluff.

Avenue School
is the winner of the HP Technology for Teaching Leadership 1 of 15 in the
US and Canada!!
**Check out the 4th
and 5th Grade Poetry Contest Winners!
**Dawes Avenue Schools team has been selected as
one of the top 30 groups of 180 HP Grant recipients nation wide, to
present their work at the National Education Computing Conference in
July. There 15 teams will earn
over $50,000 of technology for their school!
**Work on saving the bluff continues. Students will return to the bluff in
May to remove some invasive plants, and replant with environmentally
friendly native plants!
**The Save The Bluff fund will be hosting a
movie night at the Dawes
Avenue School
in June. There the documentary
will premier followed by “High School Musical”. Bring your beach chairs and beach
blankets and join us for a night under the stars.
